My Story
Why I Started Good Steward Senior Care
During my six years as a CNA, I saw more than the daily care needs of seniors. I built real relationships with the people I served, and many became like family to me. I wiped their tears, listened to their fears, and sat with them on their lonely days. These moments taught me that it truly takes a village to help our older loved ones feel safe, supported, and cared for.
In June 2025, I lost my aunt, Erica Roberts. She lived with lupus, kidney failure, dialysis, heart problems, and great pain. Our family faced repeated hospital visits while struggling to understand the healthcare system and what steps to take next. The stress and confusion made an already painful time even harder for Erica and everyone who loved her.
One month after she passed away, I took a leap of faith. I left my job and started Good Steward Senior Care. I wanted to help other seniors and families avoid feeling as lost and overwhelmed as we did.
Today, I use my CNA experience, education in health administration, and knowledge of senior care resources to help families organize information, compare care options, prepare important questions, and understand their next steps.
I cannot take away every hard part of a care transition, but I can help families face it with greater clarity, comfort, and support. I believe God gave me a purpose: to serve seniors and families during moments when they should not have to walk alone.
Our Mission
We support seniors and families who feel overwhelmed by the care transition process. Through compassionate guidance, organized research, and clear next steps, we help families compare options and move forward with confidence, comfort, and peace of mind.

A Note for Families in Rural Areas
We are glad to support families in rural communities. However, some rural areas may have fewer senior living communities, home care providers, transportation services, or other care resources nearby. This may limit the number of options available for us to research and compare.
We will clearly explain what we find and may discuss nearby towns or a wider search area if your family is open to traveling or relocating. We cannot guarantee that a certain number of suitable providers will be available in every location.
Wherever you live, we will help you understand the available options and identify a clearer next step.
